Fraser Cartmell

Swimmer turned multiple Ironman 70.3 UK and Ironman UK 2010 winner

Fraser spent most of his childhood swimming all over Scotland; he coupled this with lots of mountain biking which naturally led to him trying his first off-road triathlon way back in 1997! However, through his years at university, he focused on ITU events, racing up to World Cup and World Championship level for Great Britain.

By 2007 he had transferred over to non-drafting long course racing and managed to win his very first Ironman 70.3 event. This victory gave him the launchpad to move up to full Ironman events by 2010 where he again went on to win his debut at that distance at IM UK, Bolton. Fraser also raced professionally at Ironman Hawaii on two occasions.

With nearly two decades in the sport, spanning all distances and formats, plus having trained alongside some of the very best athletes and worked with many top coaches too, Fraser has bucket loads of experiences and knowledge to share from within triathlon.
