If you follow the world of professional triathlon, then it’s very likely you’ll recognise the name of David McNamee. The 2 time podium finisher at Kona is now in search of the elusive top spot. For a good reason because in 2015 he posted the fastest run split in his debut at the Ironman World Championships, in 2017 he placed 3rd at the World Championships and in 2018, he backed it up with another 3rd place finish! All very impressive stuff, but it’s that elusive top spot that he is really after. To add to that, we’ve been witnessing more pros than ever turning to these things we like to call ‘marginal gains’.
