The Commonwealth Games is a multi sport event that happens every four years and is open to those countries from the Commonwealth which includes strong triathlon nations such as England, Australia, South Africa, Wales, Bermuda and Canada. Triathlon was accepted into the Games in 2002, mixed relays were added to the schedule in 2014 and this year we see the debut of paratriathlon with the PTWC men's and women's event.
