Back in the 1980’s, Francesco Moser broke the cycling world hour record on the track whilst riding front and rear disc wheels. This was more or less the first major use of disc wheels - and in some style. As a result, disc wheels then began to become very popular. Triathletes were quick to use them, but probably still not quite as much as with our fully dedicated time trial friends. With the release of the new Enve disc wheel, we wanted to check out what all the fuss was about and find out how much faster a disc wheel really is!
