More specifically, it’s the effect of drafting we’re interested in. Now, we all know that by drafting another swimmer we can save energy, or go faster. We can draft on the feet or on the hips when swimming - but which is faster? This week we put it to the test over a 50m swim, a 200m swim and then speak to Professor Stephen R Turnock from the University of Southampton.
